the lovely bones

the first book i picked up to read during my recovery period. i'm halfway through. my goal is to get through the rest of it tonight. i have many more books and movies in my list of to-do's before going back to work.

i love the way this book was written. tragic story, but yet also uplifting in a way. the changing dynamic between the family members dealing with a death.

i hear it's being made into a movie next year. script is currently being written by peter jackson (lord of the rings director).
