gorgeous!

my my my! its gorgeous out right now! the first real day of spring in new york. the last few days have been pretty miserable with the rains hittin us over the weekend. hardly left the house on fri and sat. yep, i'm loads of fun!

finally! a beautiful 66 degrees out. sun is shining, kids are running, dogs are walking, birds are chirping.. and i'm typing... at my computer... in my office building.... yay. ok, so i don't get to enjoy the warmth of the sun on my face, or the clean smell of the air right after the rainfall, but i can pretend, can't i? and since we've 'sprung forward', there is daylight left when i leave work at 6pm.... except i can't enjoy it today b/c i have to go straight to chinese class... and i can't cut class!!!!!!! arghhhhhh!

i guess what's bugging me most is that today will be the nicest of days for the rest of this week. forecast says it'll be raining later on through the weekend... what a friggin bummer. so i wanted to enjoy it, is that too much to ask??? after a long, cold winter, can't a girl get some sun??? get some color in her pastey white face? can't i???? i'm not asking for that much, really.
