poison ivy?
becky and i took a hike up in tomales bay / point reyes in CA back in april. it was a great scenic hike. we were warned about huge patches of poison ivy that had grown over onto the hiking path. we encountered many times these huge areas of leafy growth blocking our narrow hiking path. problem was, becky and i weren't sure which ones were poison ivy and which weren't. so i started snapping some pix... hopefully someone can tell us if we walked through the itchy stuff.
is picture #1 poison ivy? dunno, but doesn't really look like it to me.
what about picture #2? ehhh, this prolly isn't it either...
picture #3? maybe??
picture #4?????
dangit, i just realized after i posted the pix that none of these are anything close to poison ivy, right????
what a waste. well, at least i started posting pix.... more to come.

actually, in the bay area we have poison oak, not poison ivy. not sure what those plants in the pics are, but i'd refrain from rubbing them on my skin regardless. ..

ah, that's what i meant, poison oak!!!!! i knew ivy sounded strange...
